I wanted to make a separate blog entry about this.

In November of 2008, my Mother had me participate in NaNoWriMo, and I failed to complete it. So, this year, I shall attempt it again. Except this time, I'm pumped and ready. I can just see everyone's face's when I finally get to the 50,000 word goal at the end of the month! Mwahaha!

If you haven't heard of NaNoWriMo, it's basically this:

In the month of November, people from all over the world participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), make it a goal to write a 50,000 word novel in ONE MONTH. It's a difficult task, writing 1,667 words EVERY day for the whole month of November, and your novel is most likely going to need A LOT of work afterwards, but it's great to spark the imagination and see what road your novel ends up traveling on after the tiring hours of writing everyday.

I'm really excited about starting my novel. I haven't planned much at all, just a few little ideas about the storyline, but I'm more of a let's-just-see-what-happens type of person when it comes to writing.
My mom and I are also going to go to a few of the Write-In's that they're having in our area.

Well, I hope you will join me in this exciting adventure! Here's the website:
Comment below if you're taking the challenge :]

Just real quick

On Monday morning, I met Bobby Flay. Say whattt? Yes. BOBBY FLAY. I made a vlog about it:

So, I went to the movie theater yesterday (and by the way, they GOT RID OF THE MUSTACHES I WILL SUE), and I watched Scott Pilgrim VS. The World, which I just had to see again. Such an entertaining film, I must say.

My brother -whom I had not needed to convince to drive me, cause he's already seen the movie five times and was delighted to see it again- wanted to show up super early so we wouldn't miss the beginning, so there we were, in the fourth row. The rooms in the theater are pretty small, because it's the cheap theater, so we could hear every conversation in the room. In the very back were two or three men in their upper thirties, mid forties, talking about what movies were the first ever to be made into DVDs or whatever. shortly after we had sat down, a few more people came in, ladies who were probably in their thirties as well, I never really got a good look at them.
Anyway, they immediately started talking to the men, but I could tell by their conversation that they didn't know each other. I was enjoying listening to one woman talk about how much she loved Doctor Who and how she had dressed as the tenth doctor for Dragon Con and all these other conventions.

After the movie, as I was turning to leave, I got a quick glance of the woman as she was leaving the theater room. She had on a blue suit and a long tan coat. Her hair was short and spiked in the front.

"HOLY CRAP." I said, probably too loud. "IT'S THE DOCTOR!"

I hurried my brother and sister and we ran out of the theater room to find her. But she was gone. It was very sad, indeed, but a very fun story to tell nonetheless.

In other news, I've gotten to be obsessed with Adam Young's writing. He's so clever and inspired. I like drool over his blogs, and his music is so freaking inspiring, it's ridiculous. Honestly, I can't get enough. I would to meet him one day and just talk to him. The way he views life just makes me stop and think, he's just brilliant. But yeah, I could ramble on about that forever. No joke.

So, yeah. Bye.
